Rooted in Islamic and interfaith values, ICONIC serves the Most Vulnerable People (M.V.P.) returning citizens, youth, single parents, elders, and those facing homelessness or systemic barriers.
We believe faith without action is incomplete, so our work blends spiritual guidance with modern innovation. From nutrition and wellness education to financial literacy, mental fitness, creative arts, and tech empowerment, ICONIC equips individuals with tools for life, not incarceration.

We are more than a church; we are a movement of service, education, and empowerment designed to uplift the Most Vulnerable People (M.V.P.) of our community: the long-time residents, youth, single parents, elders, the homeless, and returning citizens seeking a second chance.
Our motto, “Help Me, Help You, To Help Us,” reflects our belief that real progress begins when we lift one another, not through charity alone, but through shared dignity and purpose.

ICONIC was founded to close the gaps that traditional systems overlook. We saw too many programs addressing hunger without healing, education without empathy, and faith without action. Our purpose is to offer holistic empowerment of mind, body, and spirit, blending moral guidance with modern innovation, cultural pride, and community care.
Through programs in Nutrition & Wellness, Mental Health, Financial Literacy, Technology, Creative Arts, and Spiritual Guidance, ICONIC stands as a bridge between what Harlem has been and what Harlem can become.
ICONIC was born from both faith and frustration. After years of serving on the boards of other nonprofits and volunteering across Harlem, our founders recognized a painful truth: many organizations were providing temporary relief, but not long-term empowerment. So, they decided to create something different: a faith-driven model of transformation, where education, wellness, and dignity work together to restore lives.
With little funding but enormous faith, ICONIC began as a grassroots outreach mission, feeding the hungry, teaching health and wellness, and offering spiritual care to those society often overlooks. Today, we continue to grow through persistence, prayer, and community partnership, turning every obstacle into an opportunity to serve.
